Data Grid - reorder and sorting

Please include the following features within the Data Grids and Data Grid gadgets:

  1. The ability to drag column headings to re-order them. Column ordering should be remembered.
  2. The ability to sort all/any column: alphabetically (+reverse), chronologically (+reverse), first name or last name, etc
  3. The ability to select a column, sort it and save it as a default sorting.

A specific request would be the sorting of courses by alphabetical names.

We cant operate the new system without this - we just cant find head courses and sessions  without being able to sort alphabetically and so find a course within its category.

Most data grids have a default sort (date or alphabetical) but it is currently possible to sort columns using the arrows on the data grid header. The quick search on the data grid is also proving popular for quickly finding information. Let us know if theres any areas where this is a problem.
